Jesus said:    24 Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.  Our friend Tim Henry has fallen into the earth.  And so, on Tuesday July 10th, we said: Auf Wiedersehen, literally “see you again” to our dear friend and long-time member and Elder, Tim Henry.  I have loved this German farewell ever since I first learned it in beginning German my freshman year in high school.  The Germans don’t say Goodbye like we do, they say Auf Wiedersehen.  See you again.  And all who put their faith in Jesus Christ will see Tim again.  Author, Randy Alcorn explains how this will happen:

“One of the greatest gifts we can give our children and grandchildren is to teach them the doctrines of the resurrection and the new earth. They need to know they are made for a person and a place. Jesus is the person. Heaven is the place — not a ghostly place but God’s central dwelling place, which he promises to relocate to the new earth.”

We will indeed see our brother and our friend Tim again, in God’s eternal dwelling place.  Please click HERE for a videolink to his memorial service.
